Emma is a young entrepreneur who says that she loves the freedom that comes from making money for herself. As a Colorado lifestyle photographer, I think that’s what most attracted me to Emma. I initially connected with Emma when she was looking for a Colorado high school senior photographer.

When it comes time to take the photos, I really just function a friendly observer in the background. With the smallest amount of guidance possible I love to watch (and document) the interactions that follow organically. My goal is to make you (as parents) the hero of your own family vacation.

It was a thrill and an honor to spend a beautiful crystalline morning with this young Salt Lake City Utah family, high in the Rocky Mountains, documenting their obvious love for each other, and for the adventurous lifestyle that they’ve chosen.

First homes are special. When you are celebrating a growing family at the same time, it just adds to the fun! I felt honored to have been selected to do a documentary style, lifestyle family shoot at Mica and Logan’s recently remodeled mid-century modern home in Long Beach, California.
